Mao ate my berthday presints!
I'm just so mad and upset. The Food Lady has bin putting my berthday presents in a box and saving them for my berthday. It's hard for me to wate that long, but I gess she knows whut she's doing.
Well, last nite, my big bruther Mao BROKE INTO THE BOX, opend it, and tride to eet my presints!! He put the bitey on them and shook them reel hard, and then started taking them out of the box. CAN YOO IMAJIN???
Now all my byootiful berthday wrappings have Mao's fang marks all over them, and thare praktikly ripped to shreds. I think the Food Lady needs to let me open all my berthday presints rite away before Mao deestroys them!

I agree about letting you open the presents right away! I can't believe Mao was so tenatious! I could however see Latte doing the same thing....those big brothers can be so MEAN. I mean, didn't he just have a birthday in July??
you should be able to open your purresents right away. are you shur you didn't promise Mao half the loot if he broked into the box? Miles tried to bribe me like that when it was his purrfday. - Sammy

Oh, Skeezix, how awful! It's really hard for me to keep my usual reserved, dignified expression on my face as this just goes beyond the pale!

I think the rule is if it's just bite marks, you have to wait. If there's a lot of spit involved, then you should open them right away. In any case, it wasn't right of Mao to go after your gifts.
But if yoo open them now what will yoo have to get eggcited abowt on yer burthday?.......a big partie with all of yer frends arownd to celebrate and play pin the tail on the maobutt!?!?!?!........hmmmmmmmm, open yer pressies now!!!
