Izzy and her famly --- cats in North Texas --- need owr help!This is Izzy's storey:
"Hello, We are are in a terrible spot. There are three of us. Mommy already had to place the dogs in good homes. But now she needs to know if we can be placed in good homes. Our daddy is brain damaged after a massive coronary. Mommy is doing everything she can, but will lose the house anyway. She does not want us to go to shelters..any ideas? We are in a desperate situation. Are there any homes for us? Skittle 12 years old, Izzy 10 years old and Rio 6 years old.If yer a Catster member, yoo can reed the compleet thred in the Adopshun and Reskyoo Forum.

UPDATE: Things are still in the air, but the three cats have probably fownd homes. It apeers that the biggest hurdul rite now is finding transportayshun for one of the cats frum North Texas to Missississsiisssippi. How terrible! I wish we lived closer to them, we could probably help! I foster for a no-kill rescue group. What a sad story! I will definately keep them in my thoughts and prayers!

Izzy (and possibly Rio) look like they're at least part Turkish Van - my mom just emailed Linda Gorsuch with the Turkish Van Rescue organization, giving her the link to the Catster page. We sure hope these kitties find good homes.
Oh, the poor fings! To give up the pets wif efurrythin else is so sad. We can't do anyfing but keep them in our thots an purrayers.
Also, my mom posted about it on her blog, and she's bestest blog of the day today so maybe she'll get the word out real good.
Oooooo! How horrible! Meowm says she could take a leg of the journey if they come West. We are in Utah.
In the meantime, we will keep our paws crossed and say prayers that these babies find good homes!
