We Have a Winner!
I'm prowd to annownse the winners of Skeezix the Cat's Ferst Annyooul Halloween Costoom Kontest!It was a vary iksiting kontest, and I think we all had a vary hard time pikking one to vote for!! I coodn't beleeve how many eksellent entreez thare were, and sum were sooper-professhunul! Thare were over 50 entreez, so competishun was feerce. And I'm so sad that not evry one of yer grate entreez cood win a prize! But I am happy to annownse the winners... (that's a pikchur of me above, in my tux, just minits before I opened the envelope*). The top three broke owt frum the pak to seekyoor the top three spots by a pritty good marjin. The leed chanjed sevrul times, but in the end, the rezults were:
FIRST PLACE: Nitro S. Pierce (as Skeezix the Cat). He gits a trofee and a ribbin and all thoze fabyulus prizes and a Super Premium platinum Halloween treet bag and a can of Mao and Rocky's Vishus Deer Repelunt and the sponsership of a Best Frends Cat (he pikt Scooter - see below).
SECUND PLACE: Prooving that sex sells, Tiggy (as a Playboy Bunny) came in secund. (No werd on wether she and Kismet are gonna hook up in the grotto.) She gits a ribbon and a bunch of fabyulus prizes and a Reely Good Gold-level Halloween Treet Bag. I know all us guys were imprest with her pompoms (wate... is it okay to say that??)
THERD PLACE: Kismet (as Elvis) He gits a ribbon, sum prizes, a peenut butter and 'nana sanwich, and a pritty good Halloween treet bag. Cood anybuddy else have portrayd The King so konvinsingly?
In addishun, I have 2 speshul awards to annownse:
MOST TERRIFYING KOSTOOM: Rosie (as a skunk), rite next to a vishus deer. She wins a speshul trofee and a can of Mao & Rocky's Vishus Deer Repelunt (becuz I'm shoor she used all of hers up pozing for that pikchur). I cood barely even look at her pikchur, it was so scarey.
FUNNIEST KOSTOOM: Hondo (as Hello Kitty). The look on Hondo's face krakt me up. He gits a trofee. Runner up in this kategory was Dexter. It wuzn't eezy desiding between the two. But Hondo was waring pink, so I pikt him.
Honerubul Menshuns:
A few entreez shood be aknolijd for how much they lookt like professhunul Halloween cards: Luxor, Eclair, Princess Jasmine (a pink princess!) and Rasta. Obveeusly, a lot of thot and werk went into thoze entreez!
In case yoo mist it, Samoa's entrey came compleet with a moovey (wich also starred Calvin and Violet)! Both Samoa/Calvin/Violet and DaisyMae Maus and the Feline Americans shood be applawded for their groop-themed entreez. I think I'll add a speshul groop kategory next yeer.
It shood be noted that we had an internashunul entrey! Jack the Viking Kitten hales frum Canada, ware the vishus deer are ginormous! Wich is why he's holding a sword with wich to slay any vishus deers that cross his path!
And, I think Chase is going to be adopted by the Fancidots gang as an honerary Bengal! Mr Zenith gave me a cap just like Chase's, so I hope to get a foto of that up soon.
NOW THE BEST PART: The Best Friends cat that Nitro will be sponsering is Scooter, and heer's Scooter's storey:
Feeling bad becuz yoo won't be sponsering the Best Frends cat yoo fell in love with? Stay tuned! I'm annownsing a new kontest this week, with a Best Frends Sponserd cat as a prize.
Scooter was born without back legs. But he's a happy guy ... especially when he gets visitors! Every time someone comes to see him, he gets all excited and scoots as fast as he can to be a good host. His eyes are huge and alert ... they look almost crazy with enthusiasm when you pet him. His purr is snorty and cute.
Scooter was born in 1997. He was a 'clinic cat' in Arizona, keeping a vet staff company and greeting visitors. But because he had no back legs, some of the clientele reported feeling disturbed by his appearance. So the poor guy got fired as welcomer. Now we're happy to have him here, welcoming our guests at Kitty Motel.

WOW I am SO proud that I placed among all that great competition! I also am really happy that me and the lil playboy bunny were 2-3, because she talked about me in her entry. I like to think that I had something to do with her winning. If she likes, I would be willing to pose in my Hugh Hefner robe with her!
Congratulations, Nitro! Good job, everybody! I'm very excited, except I hope my ribbon is not a vishus ribbon wand, in which case I will be forced to kill it.
Oh, also, I liked Scooter. I have big feets, and can't imagine not having them, but I'm glad he's cool with it. And Victor - we can share my samich!

And thanks Skeezix for runnin' the contest, it was so much fun and I got to wear clothes for the first time ever and I think my Mom's gonna get me more stuff to wear and that is totally awesome and I'm really excited cause I like wearing clothes.

What a grate contest!!!! Evuryone was dressed soooo cul. I quz vary brave to powse next to the vishus deer but it was sooo wurth it fur this awesome contest.
