RODE TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I git to go on a rode trip!!!!
Yes, yoo herd me rite. On Thanksgiving, I git to go on a rode trip to vizit my faverit ant Joanne (hoo got me my Whirly*Pop box) hoo livs all the way in
BAKERSFEELD! That's a far ways away frum Castro Valley by the big forest, and thare's no telling how many vishus deer we mite incownter along the way. It's by Oildale, wich akording to the innernet, is the center of sivilizayshun. WOW! By this time on Thurzday, I'll be neer the center of sivilizayshun!
And we git to stay in a HO-tell, so I'll probly git to see lots of Hos. And my cuzzin Eric is coming with me. He's in collige. He's sofistikayted and werldly. He just came bak frum a trip to China wich is rite by Siam ware all of my big bruther Mao's relutivs came frum. And Mao and Rocky are NOT coming with me!! That's the most ixsiting part abowt it. Mao's not coming becuz he is vary vary lowd and never shuts up in the bloo masheen, even win it's just to go vizit owr frends at Bullevard Pet Hospitul. Rocky yowls nonstop, too. Not as lowd as Mao, but he gits reely strest win he's put in the bloo masheen wich is not good for his pee problim. But I'm a vary good, qwiet boy in the bloo masheen, so I git to go!!!!!!!!!!!
And the Food Lady sez I'll even git to see the Chuck Erreca Rest Stop on Eyes 5. The Food Lady and Mr Tasty Face have fun saying "Chuck Erreca Rest Stop." They like stopping thare becuz yoo can git kappuchinoze thare frum a masheen. Thare are no Starbucks thare at the Chuck Erreca Rest Stop, wich is why they have to git thare coffeey thare frum a masheen. They are leeving vary erly, wich meens LOTS of coffeey and kappuchinoze, or else the Food Lady will be kranky.
Maybe I can git Mr Tasty Face to bring his lap compyuter so I can blog FRUM THE RODE!!!

Omigosh, Skeezix! That is the most ixsitin' thing I ever hurd! I am soo gelus... I don't git to go on a rode trip. Have lotsa fun and be shur to tell us all abowt it!
I'm so jealous of you Skeezix! Whenever ny people go somewhere I always have to board at my Vet's. So does Shabby. We hope you have fun and don't encounter any vishus deer. And have a really great Thanksgiving too!!

Skeezix, it sounds like an exciting road trip for you. We're glad that Mao and Rocky don't have to go since they don't like riding in the blue machine. Mom says that when she took Grandma and my cousin Toby to North Carolina once, Toby (a Siamese, of course) screamed the whole five hours.
Are you going to have some of the caned ham from the supermarket in Oildale? Do they beat the poor piggies to make ham? That sounds cruel.

Skeezix ... Have an AMAZING time on your field trip. Be sure to take lots of pictures and get lots of new outfits in Bakersfield where everyone is a cappuccino-drinking cowboy. Maybe Mr. Tasty Face or the Food Lady will buy you a cowboy hat? I've heard that they come in pink.
Enjoy some REAL turkey with gravy on Thanksgiving ... It's SOOOOOO much better than the Fancy Feast you've been eating.

wow, skeezie! you are mega-lucky! we are ixsited for you, too! you are a special cat, so why shouldn't you get special trips!! just be sure to take lots of repelunt, so you are all safe on the road. take lotsa pictures so us non-traveling cats can live vicariously through you!
we won't efur get to go on a road trip. we only know our mom's mom & dad from pictures, except nelson, who remembers from 'way back when she & granpa could drive here from chicago. now they're too old and creaky to do that, and mom sez there are no pets allowed in gramma's building, much less in grandpa's nursing home!
so enjoy your trip a great big bunch! happy thanksgiving to you and efurrycat and bean at your house!

Hee hee, Mom says Rascal does the same as Mao when he gets ta ride in the car. He yowls his head off! I don't know what sivilizayshun is, but I hopes ya likes it!
OMG!!! Skeezix, our mom and dad stop at that same rest stop when they come back from Sacramento (where they are going on Thursday) to Yosemite, and our dad buys coffee from the same vending machines! Who knew?? Hope you have a good Thanksgiving.

I don't do well in cars so I don't get to go anywhere. I bet you'll have lots of fun and lots of people who will play with you! Take lots of pictures and report on the trip when you get home!
