Save this Frootbat frum the Sausage Faktery!!
OK, at ferst I thot this wuz a stranje sort of frootbat, but I was rong -- it's sum sort of dawg calld a doxie-chiwawa mix. And he's a geezer dawg -- 11 yeers old. He wuz dumped at June Lake by sum bad peeple, and he's bin livving at the pownd for six munths becuz nobuddy wunts a geezer dawg. He has a speshul talunt: he likes to lie on his bak and sing!Best Frends Animul Sankchewary is trying to place him. (He can't liv with us becuz my big bruther Mao wood have a stroke, and frankly, I'm neerly as scared of dawgs as I am of vishus deer.) He's going to be fosterd in San Hozay for a cuppul of weeks, and evrywun is werking hard to keep him frum having to go to the sausage faktery. The Food Lady made me post this on my blog becuz win she was born, a dachshund pade her hospitul bill, so she feels indetted to dachshunds even tho they are dawgs. And she also gits reely mad win peeple dump old animuls becuz they aren't kyoot and spry anymore.

Oh Skeezix, that's a horrible thing. I'm glad that you all are helping. I wish we could but I am furry scared of doggies.

We don't like dogs, but our Mom has a special place in her heart for dachshunds too. She had Fritzi when she was a little girl and he would sleep sideways in the bed with her. She learned to sleep in a very tiny space and not move around much.
How did that dog pay your food lady's hospital bill? Was he rich?

One of the Food Lady's doxhunds was named Fritzi, too!
The Food Lady was born at a time win her daddy was unimployed. So munney was vary vary vary tite. But my gramma (the Food Lady's mommy) had a doxhund named Gretchen, hoo she'd sumtimes breed and sell her pups. So before the Food Lady was borned, Gretchen had pups and the week before the Food Lady came, gramma sold the pups for just enuf munney to pay the hospitul bill so they were abul to take the Food Lady home frum the hospitul insted of leeving her thare until they cood pay up.
And if yoo ever watch any of the Food Lady's home mooveez frum win she was littul, thare are weenie dawgs all over the place.... scarey!
