My poor frend, Babe

My poor frend babe, hoo is my gramma's cat, is having a hard time. This weekend, the Food Lady notist that he'd lost a lot of wate, and Mr Tasty Face notist that his chin seemd swollin, so they told my Gramma, and they gave him sum of Rocky's good drugs so he woodn't be in pane, and Gramma took him to Bullevard Pet Hospitul. He had to have two teeths remoovd, and his jaw was infektid, and now he has this gross thing on his lip and he can't eet or take his medisins, so Gramma had to take him bak to Bullevard Pet Hospitul until he gits that monster kontrapshun on his chin remooved on Thurzday.We used to call him Babe the Blob, but now he's not too blobby anymore, so we just call him Babe. He's a formerly ferul cat. I like Babe. He's a cool cat. Mao hates his guts. Git well qwik, Babe!

BABE UPDATE!!!
After spending a cuppul of dayz at Bullevard Pet Hospital, Babe is bak with Gramma. The Food Lady got a delivery of Wysong Daily Dreem Treets today, so she took sum to Babe becuz he reely luvs them, and he ate a bunch, wich made evrywun happy. And then he had a bunch of Dreem Treets crums on his chin, wich lookt kinda gross. But at leest he can eet and become a blob agin.

Ferst of all, Blogger has bin vary vexing this weekend. It's impossibul to uplode fotos and publishing has bin ~~skrewed~~ mest up so that posts are being dooplikayted and they don't exist in the list of posts so that yoo can deleet 'em. So I've bin yelling at the compyooter a lot, and last nite, win nobuddy was arownd, I even sed one of the werds on my bad werd list, but don't tell the Food Lady.

Anyway, that's a long way of saying that this is offishully the 500th post! After I'm thru riting this, I'll chek owt the entreez to see hoo the lukky winner is!

Anyway, sinse the Mizzerey Meowers (Nels, Ed, Xing and Nitro) reesintly posted fotos of the pritty trees arownd thare howse, I thot I wood do the same. I saw this tree yesterday on owr strole. At ferst, I thot that sum hoolyguns had come thru the nayberhood and paynted the trees red, but then I fownd owt that this happens evry Awtum, but it duzn't happen to all the trees, just the speshul ones. And after they tern red, all the leeves fall off, wich meens that Mr Tinydik gits to use his ginormous leef-blower at 7am on Saterday mornings like he likes to do. This cuts into the Food Lady's "ketching up on her sleep" time, and she calls the leef blower a reely reely bad name. I think it's okay for her to use bad werds in sichyooayshuns like this becuz:

She's not a morning persun
She hazn't had her coffeey yet
All week she looks forwerd to sleeping past 6:30 am on Saterday

So she can't be held accowntubul for what she says. She was happy that this morning she got an extra howr of sleep. (She still has a lot of rinkles, tho.)

My Pink Blankey

Heer is my faverit pink blankey. Kaze, Latte and Chase's ladey made it for me for my berthday. Thare's a pillow that matches, but I keep that in my stroler, and the blankey is for my cat cup. Lately, the days have bin reeely hot and the nites and mornings have bin reeely kold. And win it's cold, I freeze becuz I'm praktikly hairless and my big ears tern into ice-sikkuls. So withowt the pink blankey I wood probly freeze to deth. This is a pikchur of me in my heeted cat cup with the pink blankey on top of me. As yoo can planely see, I've hided evry part of me that stiks owt in the cold and kept it underneeth the blankey. And I forgot to menshun that it is made of the most softest mateeryul I've ever felt. I love love love it!

Last Nite's Strole

We wint for a strole last nite, and it was GRATE! We wint a long ways, over to the park with all the green grass as far as the eye can see. The Food Lady and Mr TF pland it so that they snuk off win Trip the psyko stray cat wasn't looking so that they didn't have to werry abowt him gitting mode down by a big car wile he wuz following us.

The ferst part of the strole wuzn't so grate becuz Mr Tinydik's big stoopid ole' Rottenwiler dawg

startid barking the minit he saw us, and that scared me a littul bit. (This is a pikchur of Mr Tinydik's howse, but I don't have a pikchur of the Rottenwiler.) Akshully, that big dawg scared me kind of a lot, so I stade neer the bak of the stroler until that big monster dawg stopt barking. Then I began to injoy myself. For a wile we were walking by a man hoo was walking his dawg, but the Food Lady sed it was an afgan, wich is a sissy dawg, and not one I have to werry abowt. She was rite. The dawg didn't even look at me. So I gess afgan dawgs are all rite.

Win we klimd up the hill and got bak into owr nayberhood, the Food Lady stopt abowt 7 howses away frum owr howse. That was ok with me becuz it was a nise strole and I didn't wunt it to end. The reezin she stopt wuz becuz my big bruther Mao was sitting in the driveway of a naybur's howse (a lot farther away frum home than he's supost to be), and he wuz wating for us to come bak. Win I saw him, I started saying hey to him in my littul sqweeekey voice. He sed hey bak. So Mr TF wint and pikt him up and they PUT HIM IN THE STROLER WITH ME! I think they sed they didn't wunt him to run owt into the street if Mr Tinydik's Rottenwiler barkt at us. And Mao didn't yowl his hed off win he wuz in the stroler, wich is amazing becuz he always yowls his hed off abowt anything at all. And the two of us fit good in the stroler becuz it's a spayshus stroler. The only thing I didn't like wuz that he wunted to ride in the frunt seet and look owt the frunt window, and that's not fare becuz it's MY stroler, and I git to sit in the frunt. By the time we got dun argyooing, we were home anyway.

I'm thrilld to annownse that my deer frend (no pun intended) Jack (of all shades and shadows) has published an ixtreemley informutiv pamflet, "Vishus Deer of the North - an Educational Pamphlet*." It was a tremendus undertaking. He's done ixtensiv reeserch and shood probly git a PhD in Vishus Deerology. Thare's lots of skarey fotos, too. Skeezix's Stroler Store

I know a lot of yoo have liked waching my stroler videeyo and are thinking of gitting a stroler of yer own. I get sevrul emales a week asking whut kind I have and ware I got it. So, I put together a bunch of strolers all in one place: Skeezix's Stroler Store.

My stroler is the ferst one in the top row - it's the red Jeep Rubicon all-terayne stroler. It has rubber tires for a smooth qwiet ride. But thare are many others to chooze frum, inclooding PINK ones! And yoo can probly git sum good deels on Ebay, sinse stroling izn't for evrybuddy.

The Pengwin

Well, as yoo all know, me and my big bruther Mao are going as Batman and Robin for Halloween. Mao's mad becuz he thot he wuz gitting a "Catman" costoom, and the Batman soot is still too baggy for him and it makes him look fat (well, he is gitting a littul chunky). So, we thot we'd git Rocky to be the Pengwin, but he's gitting all sqwerly on us and sez that pengwins don't live in the gutter so he duzn't wunna be wun. So, ~~krap~~ shuks, I didn't know whut we cood do. So I wint looking for a replasemint pengwin, and wuz lukky that that psyko stray cat Tripper volunteerd. Okay, akshully, this isn't a pikchur of that psyko stray cat Tripper in a pengwin soot, but this is ikzaktly whut he'd look like as the Pengwin, and I'm gonna use this neet pikchur to convinse Trip that he'd look magnifisint as The Pengwin. I have a week and a day to talk him into it. Wish me luk!

Spiders and Vishus Deer

Do any of yoo know if spiders eet cats? Cuz today, I saw owtside my window a ginormous spider web that is WAY bigger than me. And so it made me wunder if spiders eet cats or not. Becuz I'm pretty shoor that big ol' spider is comin' for me. He sits owtside my window and stares hungriley at me. I think I even saw him salivayting. I don't have a foto of the spider becuz winever I see him I run like the wind as far away as I can.

In VISHUS DEER NEWS, thare is a horrifying seereez of pikchurs of a vishus deer vishusley attaking a tender joosy yung boy (if yer sqweemish, yoo need to tern away). My best frend N'bikay alerted me to this terrifying storey. A tender yung joosy boy was gitting reddy to run a race win a vishus deer tride to eet him. How I Spended my Saterday

Blogger was hozed most of the day on Saterday. That suks, I know. I also know I'm not supost to say "suks," but I think in this case it's warrunted becuz I am so frustrated with how bad Blogger suks. I'm also frustrated that Google is buying youtube.com, wich meens the end of good videeyos on youtube. Youtube's bin bot by "the Man." That makes me sad becuz for a wile thare, I thot I was starting a promising filmmaking career.

Sum big ginormous dogs came in owr yard this afternoon. They wint owt in the bak by the rektangul lake. The Food Lady and Mr Tasty Face ran owt to git them so they woodn't hert the cats hoo were owtside, like that stray psyko cat, Trip, and Rocky the Gutter Cat. The animul kontrol peeple won't come to git the dawgs bekuz they aren't vishus. The Food Lady and Mr Tasty Face coodn't ketch them. They got a fone number of maybe an owner frum the rabeez peeple, but thare was no anser on the fone. I got to smell the dog smell on thare hands. It smelld intristing.

Win they were trying to figyur owt how to ketch the dogs and find thare peeple, they had to talk to Mrs Tinydik, who they'd never talked to before. For thoze of yoo hoo don't know hoo Mr Tinydik is, he's owr naybur hoo livs in the jiant howse that tries to looks like Tara, and he has a red Furrari and 2 (yes, two) Humvees. I didn't heer the conversayshun Mr Tasty Face had with Mrs. Tinydik, but afterward, Mr TF and the Food Lady were making banjo sownds like that song frum Deliveranse, and sed Mrs Tinydik looked and sownded like a meth momma hoo moved on up frum a singlewide. Mr TF sed she was a peese of werk. I don't know qwite whut all that meens, I'm just repeeting whut I herd.

We also wint on a strole tonite. We wint a long ways and Trip followd us the hole way like he does. It was nice. The stroler is espeshully comfterbul now becuz Kaze and Latte's mom made me a cooshun for stroler and it's vary soft and very PINK. I'm vary disappointed that the Food Lady still has not fully pimped owt my stroler for me, tho. She sez maybe tomorrow.

Anyway, a lot of yoo have asked me for a pikchur of the Food Lady. Heer she is - with that stray cat Tripper - and she's waring my vary faverit shooze.

FUNNIEST KOSTOOM: Hondo (as Hello Kitty). The look on Hondo's face krakt me up. He gits a trofee. Runner up in this kategory was Dexter. It wuzn't eezy desiding between the two. But Hondo was waring pink, so I pikt him.

Honerubul Menshuns:

A few entreez shood be aknolijd for how much they lookt like professhunul Halloween cards: Luxor, Eclair, Princess Jasmine (a pink princess!) and Rasta. Obveeusly, a lot of thot and werk went into thoze entreez!

In case yoo mist it, Samoa's entrey came compleet with a moovey (wich also starred Calvin and Violet)! Both Samoa/Calvin/Violet and DaisyMae Maus and the Feline Americans shood be applawded for their groop-themed entreez. I think I'll add a speshul groop kategory next yeer.

Scooter was born without back legs. But he's a happy guy ... especially when he gets visitors! Every time someone comes to see him, he gets all excited and scoots as fast as he can to be a good host. His eyes are huge and alert ... they look almost crazy with enthusiasm when you pet him. His purr is snorty and cute.

Scooter was born in 1997. He was a 'clinic cat' in Arizona, keeping a vet staff company and greeting visitors. But because he had no back legs, some of the clientele reported feeling disturbed by his appearance. So the poor guy got fired as welcomer. Now we're happy to have him here, welcoming our guests at Kitty Motel.

My best frends Samoa, Calvin and Violet sent me a Halloween Trikker Treet bag as part of a treet exchange in owr Super Stroler groop on Catster. I'm not shoor I shood be watching this...... even tho I've had that thing done to my goodie sak, it givs me urges.

Rocky's Water Fowntin

This is an inside-outside pikchur. I'm inside, on the rayling upstares over the living room. (Sumtimes I slip and fall off of it to way far down below. It's my X-treem sport.)

Rocky is downstares, but he's owtside by the big rektangle lake in the bak yard. He drinks a lot of water. Like a lake-full of water evry day. I think Mr Tasty Face fills up the lake evry day just so Rocky can drink owt of it, becuz I see him owt thare a lot. Rocky's just resting between drinks. I think the big rektangle lake is like a mote that keeps the vishus deer frum coming into owr howse, becuz the forest is on the other side of it. And it werks good, becuz I have never in my life seen a vishus deer inside the howse. My big bruther Mao and Rocky sez it's becuz of "Mao and Rocky's Vishus Deer Repelunt," but we've had the mote-lake since before they invented "Mao and Rocky's Vishus Deer Repelunt," so I think the mote-lake duz most of the repelling.

Anyway, with Rocky drinking all that water evry day, yoo can imajin how much he pees. I think at this momint in this pikchur, Rocky is being kontemplutiv, thinking abowt the meening of life and trying to deside wether he shood start wining for his next meel or go krap in the mulch. It's whut he duz.

Whut size costoom shood yoo order?

A cuppul of yoo (hoo have not bot clothes or costooms before) have asked me qweschuns abowt sizing. It's an importint qwestchun. Heer are gidelines on whut size costoom yoo shood order....

I am abowt 7-1/2 pownds (runt-sized), and I ware a small. Same as pugs, chiwawas and small (but not teeny tea-cup) dawgs. My best frend Kismet is a big man cat, and he wares a medium. He ways like 16 pownds (yes, that's more than twice as big as me. He is, after all, a big man cat). His Hugh Hefner berthday robe was sized for Cocker Spanyuls, wich evrywun knows are hyooj dawgs. And he sez it fits him perfiktly.

HOWEVER sizing reely vareez a LOT depending on hoo is making the costoom. Sum smalls are like ten times too big for me. So, I rekumend yoo only buy frum a place that offers a sizing chart, and that yoo take mezhurmints (uzhually nek size and the length frum nek to tale) and see whut the rekumended dawg sizes are. Since yoo offin can't return costooms arownd Halloween, it's a good ideeyuh to be as shoor as yoo can before yoo place yer order.

And persunully, I'd rekumend that if yer in dowt, to by the bigger size. Yoo can always wip owt a needul and thred and take it in a little, but if it's too small yer kinda outta luk.

A good place for cats to shop is Chiwawa Gaga. They have lots of smaller sizes.
