My best frends Shabby and Kalin are like my oldest and deerest innernet frends. Kalin has bin sik lately, and she's gotten a lot werse, so pleeze keep her in yer purrayers, espeshully this Friday win she's going to have serjery. I'm vary vary upset abowt this. Heer is her pikchur, and the note frum Shabby:
My family and me have been overwhelmed with all the good wishes and purryers for Kalin. And it has worked; she is out of surgery and doing well! A tumor was found, but it was small and removed and should be easily treated. She is still very sleepy but should be home tomorrow. I love all of you soo much and am sure it was the purryers which did the trick. I want to thank each and everyone of you. My heart is full!

Please say a little prayer for my (almost 17-year old) sister kitty cat, Kalin, this Friday (3/2/07); she is not doing well right now, and she will be undergoing surgery to remove a (possible cancerous) mass in her intestines. She has been losing a lot of weight over the months, and recently she has been throwing up almost every other day. We want to know what's going on with her and it's too expensive to do a CAT scan so they have to open her up. My mommy and daddy are trying to prepare for the possibility that they may have to put her down if things don't go well that day. Wish us luck, and keep my sister in your thoughts. Thanks.

Hey, Skeezix, I hope yur friend will be okay in no time at all! It's all kinda scary when we're sick, but it's good to know all the cats out here are purrayin fur us.

I am so happy to hear the good news about you friend kitty doing good after the operation. That is always tough. I have Jake who is six and almost died twice. It is very scary So I am happy to hear the good news.
I hope you continue to blog everyday. I would miss you very much. So would so many other people.

Hooray for Kalin and the vets. Oh, what a good way to end today (which was... well, whatever it was). But am so thankful the prayers and good thoughts worked.
It's good that Kalin did well with her surgery. It must have been the outpouring of well-wishes and purrayers from the blogosphere.
